Tico has learned another trick but I am running out of ideas!!! PLEASE throw out some suggestions on what else I should teach him! When I get better trick props for him, I will post another video of him doing ALL of his tricks.

very creative how you made all those toys for tico, i got a peachfaced lovebird as well, named jerry, i got videos of him too.
Im also teaching Jerry tricks by using clicker training, and hes doing well!

Is there a difference with feeding them with a syringe or handfeeding them? If so, was Tico hand fed or fed with a syringe?

Tico is so cute! You remind me of my aunt when she was a kid, she loved animals and she still loves them today! She`s a vegetarian and she works at the Nashville zoo. She also has 2 pitbulls, which she rescued both. She also had a pet snake.

As a trick idea, how ’bout “play dead?” My former Grey Cheeked Parakeet used to do that, play dead in my hand, lying on his back, feet up, ’til I said “OK.”
You might enjoy the Grey Cheeks I adopted from bad homes. they are elderly & probably won’t learn tricks, but they have a good home & seem to appreciate it. Go to my YouTube page “KutRyte.”

I got Tico for $40 …
I got Tico for $40 from a breeder but at pet stores they vary from $70 on up. Breeders are definately the way to go because you always get tame, healthy birds.

ya the gum was hilarious, expecially how she said “drop it” just like you would with a dog! As for the price, it REALLY varies depending on where you get your bird.
